President elect Akufo Addo who is a royal of Akyem Abuakwa through his matrilinial lineage
will honoure an invitation by His Paramount Chief,Okyehene ,Osagyefo Amoatia Ofori Panin.
Nana Akufo Addo will be inaugurated as the president of the Republic of Ghana on Jan 7 and thereby travel to his hometown of Kyebi, to meet his royal folks including the Okyehene at a durbar at the forecourt of Okyehene's Palace on Jan 8.
This is initiated by the Okyehene to thank God for honouring Akufo Addo the presidency.
There will be sea of heads as NPP party supporters,officials and other members of the diapora are expected to flood the durbar at Kyebi in the Eastern Region of Ghana.
