Prof. Mike Ocquaye,a Ghanaian politician who is an astute member
of the New Patriotic Party as been sworn in few minutes ago as the Speaker of the 7th Parliament of the 4th Republic of Ghana.Prof.Mike Ocquaye has served as a Deputy Speaker of parliament between 2009 and 2013.He was also the Member of Parliament for Dome-Kwabena from 2005 to 2013. He was also from 2005-2006 under Former president Kuffour's government a Minister of Communication.In 2008 he contested together with 16 others for the flagbearership of the New Patriotic Party in which he lost Nana Akufo Addo.
