Speaking at the Okuapeman Senior High School's 60th anniversary
,the President of the Republic of Ghana stated categorically that his long time promise to Ghanaian citizens ,thus the Free senior high school ,will begin in the 2017/18 academic year.
The Okuapeman Senior High school is located in the Eastern Region of Ghana at Akropong to be precise.Founded in 1957 ,the school can boost of a lot of notable personalities,including The nation's number one Radio host,Keane Sefa Kanyi, Israel Laryea,Nana Ansah Sasraku,chief of Mamfe ,Elvis Afriyie Ankrah etc.
Pres Akufo Addo as the special guest,make this pronouncement to be greeted with a huge applause by the attendees.He stressed that,students are expected to attend high school without paying absolutely nothing or whatsoever .
