Is Ghana worth to be celebrated @60 years??

Ghana gained independence from the British on 6th March ,1957 thus with a population of about 5 million that time, averagely over £200 million in the nation's coffers donated by the colonial Master and over a billion worth of natural resources at that time was enough to place the nation up there with our donors.

Here we are ,60 long years after....can we hit our chest and claim we've done enough us a people and as a nation ? Can you look at yourself in the mirror and tell yourself you've done enough for your country or doing enough to push it forward and as you do that remember when you threw that rubbish or the  pure water sachet into the gutter instead of the dustbin or the refuse dump ,illegally tempered with the Meter to to read very slow so you don't pay high utility bills or made that illegal connection to exempt you from paying bills ,the defacing or mishandling  of the local currency -don't forget it as well ,your silence on those dealing in drugs in the neighborhood etc.Have we us citizens done enough ?

Our presidents, our leaders have done enough for your people? Have you gone to the extreme for your people? Have your people enough power for their homes and businesses? Enough and quality drinking water ? Have provided enough security for us ? Have you given your people better education? Do they have enough textbooks and other learning materials? Just how many of your citizens can read and write ,let alone use a computer? Do they even know their right as citizens of this Nation?
Can you Boast of industries or jobs for your people to walk right to after school? Have you been paying your workers well with better working conditions?
Have you done enough to stop child labour ,child marriage, abuse etc ?Speaking of abuse I refuse to to rule emergence of foreign nationals who has trooped our nation over the years to setup businesses and later ended up abusing the workers,us Ghanaians who work there ,dipping our faces in hot pepper when we fault, spit on us ,hit us with spatulas ,slap us ,refused us our salaries etc .What have been doing to these people? Why are they still operating their businesses? Why are they still in the country? Should your citizens be abused in their motherland which was secured by the blood and toil of  our forefathers, our own country? How long are your citizens going to endure this under your watch? We don't deserve better as a people? How long do you think we could last if we do just half of that in their country?

Bow your heads in shame our past and present leaders. We are where we are because of you.You haven't done enough for us as a nation.Majority of you cared and care for yourself and your family.
You've robbed the nation. You've disrespect the nation. How on earth could you sit there and watch our river bodies be destroyed by the Chinese and our chiefs or you lack the knowledge of having clean rivers? We are watching them Rob our resources to their countries to develop it.Have we even benefitted from our cocoa ,coffee, gold ,oil ,bauxite etc Why should Malasyia even develop more than us? Having all these resources and were still wallowing in debt.
We are still running those who enslaved us for help? How come we've gained independence when we are at their mercy.

Government worker, are you working just for the salary or helping to build your nation. As far as you're expecting the government to give off their best ,you should as well. Are your regular and punctual? Do you only  work when your superior is around? Are you brighting the corner where you are ? Encourage your colleagues to give their all for the job? If the nation fails you're part of it.

Ghana bas come a long way to have its border secured ,to let it's people elect their own president without other national coming here to vote .Our resources should be put to better use....We should have a better education ...Our curriculum needs a serious look at.we can't do the same things over and over again and expect a different result .Our leaders sit up !My fellow citizens step up!
We have only one Ghana and we must take it up there.
We haven't done enough to celebrate this birthday .we are lurking behind. It's shameful!
