ISIS website hacked with Malware,over thousands of Users device have been affected

Amaq,the official news agency of the  Islamic State has signaled his users of an attack on their
website that permits the hacker to transmit malicious softwares onto their devices the announcement was made earlier this morning on a Telegram channel,by Amaq, notifying it's users to deny a request to download a Flash Player which is believed to be carrying the virus.It is reported that,the malware so far as impacted over thousands of device.



A user will be greeted with the page above as he/she tries to visit the site.The Warning was also spread through ISIS web forums where some members said the malware was used to steal information by exposing a user's location,reading his/her SMS messages,retrieving photos, contacts, videos etc.
Also, it was noted that the malware passes itself as Flashplayer.apk.
APK (Android Package Kit) is a file format used to install software on android operating system.
Other than retrieving information from one's device through this hack,the infiltrator can also install softwares on devices to delete data.

Ahough no group has formally taken authority over this attack, a user associated with Anonymous hacking group ,who has years engaged in an Anti-ISIS online campaign and also make a mess of ISIS online presence has mentioned Amaq in his twitter post which reads,"we are coming for you".
