Assin Fosu is a town in the Central region of Ghana which can
boost of a lot of social amenities including a College of Education.
Women in Assin Fosu are pleading with President Akufo Addo to grant the inmates from that region leniency to marry them since they're in short in the region and the few there are also irresponsible.
Majority of Ghanaians are against that since most of these inmates are in prison for crimes ranging from robbery to assault.
In an interview with Adom Fm,a lady from Assin Fosu could heard saying that,they have been single for long and they're families are putting pressure on them to get married by end of 2017."Majority of the ladies in the town are also single mothers as well and all these are setting them to compete with married women for their husbands",she said.
"The men are few in the region and among the few are irresponsible so the President should have mercy upon them and release them to marry us",she added.
