"I was in the Gym today for a little workout after a long break.We numbered 18 at the gym, all male
adult.Just as i was about to leave something ensued between some guys who were doing bench pressing which eventually led into a huge argument.Obviously ,when guys meet if they don't argue about football or women then it'd be about the latest fashion trend or who owns what.
What caused this uproar that almost collapsed the entire building?
An individual who happens to be a security personnel called Jones arranged 120kg of weight to perform bench press of which i've seen him done that before for about 5 reps but this time he wasn't able to go for even one rep.It was such an embarrassment to this macho man who alluded to the fact that he had sex the day before to prevent his friends from mocking him.He further went on to say sex always makes him less energetic to workout in the gym and also lifting heavy weights but alcohol works much better for him.It is believed Jones is a heavy drinker as well.
His friends debunked this sentiment and blamed it on his frequent in take of alcohol that is gradually deteriorating his system,thus his inability to workout like he used to.He stood by his standing, claiming alcohol has always been good in giving him energy to perform toilsome activities.
The back and forth eventually transcended to the rest of guys at the gym.Everyone gave his opinion on the matter and this led to a huge argument.The theme was then generalized, citing the benefits of alcohol as compared to Sex, especially the most appropriate for performing herculean tasks and which which has adverse effect on an individuals health.The gym was then divided , 10 are for sex is better and the rest are for alcohol.No conclusion was made, since each one wasn't ready to accept any view of the other.As for me , i sided with sex being better than alcohol any day.
So,i am here on this blog soliciting thoughts on the theme at hand.Which one among the two is of great disadvantageous to one's health; alcohol and sex?"
